Since it has a very minimal interface, you do not have the option to change beats, tweak the intensity of the feedback, etc. The app has a Link & Play Together option which allows multiple users to connect with the same metronome settings using Bluetooth. The best part about the app is that the metronome feedback doesn’t stop even if you rotate or twist your arm. If you have prior rhythm knowledge, you can simply tap on screen to set the tempo. The tempo is displayed on the watch face with various options and animations. This is one of the few apps which make use of haptic feedback. Today, I live in Los Angeles and continues to explore digital sounds and how to translate them into an analog world. As my DJing evolved to incorporate these new sounds, I also experimented with incorporating Ableton, Traktor, and drum machines into my DJ setup. While living in San Francisco I was exposed to minimal techno and digital DJing. Then, in 2005, I moved to San Francisco and dove into that music scene. Initially DJing under Twiggy Stardust, I built my name playing clubs and raves in and around Los Angeles and San Diego. This exposure to a wide range of genres and DJ styles heavily influenced me. Dance music was not as divisive as it is now, and it was not uncommon for clubs to play house one night and trance next. I first fell in love with dance music during the second British invasion. DJing under multiple pseudonyms I have continuously shared a diversity of sounds ranging from disco to banging techno. The : metronome : project is based on a love of all genres of dance music.
